Facing The Light
----------------

On one fair summer day
Laying in the great beyond
I begin to reflect
I gander back to see myself
A mangled soul tortured by the past
The train wreck of life before me
I wonder what it was like to live, breathe, love, die
So far from time
Did I reach out enough?
Was I always there?
Feeling dejected, wanting to be more
I wish that I could have changed
I think about tomorrow
I look further into the reflection
I see a bright light shining with hope
I watch everyone cry
Suddenly what was alone now is warm
What once was dark is light
My greatest fear shattered
