I've been taken for a ride on this long and twisted road
So long that the hows and whys escape me
All that is known is beginning to numb me, make me see
But not to be, what was, now is to long, to long to be free
Bottomless void of which has turned me into another
Seemingly distant thoughts of what had made me good
But reality has it, and won't let me go
Why should I remain on this road if I don't wish
Why does it seem that the road just won't end
As hard as I try, I just can't seem to move
As much as I want to end this crazy journey
The struggle within has taken me over
No control, don't know which way I'm going
I close my eyes for the unknown comforts me
I drift to another plane, never to wake again
